These are the Riedell R3 Roller Skates in Black and it has been the skate of choice for rookie derby skaters worldwide since its introduction. At a time when larger sized quad skates are hard to come by the R3 is a welcome option.
Riedell have created a special grade of vinyl for use on their R3 skate. This makes the skate super durable and perfect for aspiring derby skaters. To keep weight and costs to a minimum, the R3 features the popular PowerDyne Thrust plate. Made from a composite material the Thrust plate offers a supportive and responsive base.
Please note the R3 comes equipped with Radar Cayman wheels which have a hard compound and are designed for indoor use, if you wish to use the skates outside we would suggest buying some softer wheels.
